Currently stationed at Tanium, where I help build and maintain the GitHub Actions runner fleet — over 14 million job runs processed to date. Driving AI and platform capabilities in a DevOps role to enable developers and automate manual tasks — including hands-on training and workshops across the org.
ABOUT
I drive AI and platform capabilities in a DevOps role to enable developers and automate manual tasks. My work sits at the intersection of CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, AI enablement, and developer experience.
My journey started at Discover Financial Services, where I spent six years moving from regulatory data systems to cloud engineering and DevOps culture advocacy. From there I built CI/CD pipelines at Rackspace Technology, and now lead platform infrastructure at Tanium.
I believe in building systems that eliminate toil, enforce standards through code rather than process documents, and give engineering teams self-service capabilities so they can ship with confidence.

EXPERIENCE
2021 — PRESENT
Senior Software Engineer · Tanium
Core contributor to the GitHub Actions runner fleet — over 14 million job runs to date across 6+ GitHub orgs on ephemeral EKS nodes, ARM64, macOS, and Windows runners. Led Windows ARC runner support and MacStadium macOS integration. Built the enterprise AWS Bedrock AI platform and led AI training workshops and onboarding across the engineering org.
2019 — 2021
Software Developer — CI/CD · Rackspace Technology
Created CircleCI CI/CD pipelines that automated GitHub releases and Helm chart deployments, saving engineers 100+ hours per month. Deployed self-hosted GitHub Action runners to Kubernetes and built metrics dashboards for CI/CD observability.
2017 — 2019
Cloud Engineer · Discover Financial Services
Automated deployments and management of Pivotal Cloud Foundry foundations and Gemfire clusters, reducing manual tasks by 75%. Fully automated a 48-hour manual patching task down to a single button push.
2013 — 2017
Associate / Senior Associate Programmer · Discover Financial Services
Translated Federal Reserve Board requirements into technical implementations for regulatory reporting. Built a web-based metadata and data governance tool that converted a 6-month manual validation task into an automated job.
PROJECTS
Enterprise AI Platform
Production-ready AWS Bedrock AI proxy/gateway built in under 5 months. Includes API Gateway with WAF, self-service API key provisioning via Lambda, per-team rate limiting, DynamoDB usage tracking with per-model cost lookup, KMS encryption, and cross-region inference profile support.
GitHub Actions Runner Fleet
Fully Go-based Pulumi platform supporting ephemeral EKS nodes, ARM64, macOS, and Windows ARC runners across 6+ GitHub organizations — over 14 million job runs processed to date. Evolved from initial k8s-based runners to a single-repo production EKS platform.
GitHub Org-as-Code Platform
Pulumi-based self-service platform enabling engineering teams to manage repos, teams, branch protections, secrets, and rulesets via PR-driven GitOps. Adopted across all 6 GitHub organizations with automated governance workflows.
